DLPC6540: auto keystone/warping

Hi,

I want to correct auto keystone and warping using the camera on DLPC6540.

Can I do image processing by connecting the camera to the USB of DLPC for auto correction?
Is capture image processing supported in DLPC?

    Hello Ted,

    Can you please provide more details on how you want to use keystone or warping? 

    DLPC6540 supports manual warping but not auto warping, and manual warping is applied on top of any scaling and keystone correction performed by the warp engine. For more details, you can refer to the DLPC6540 software programmer's guide. The DLPC6540 or GUI doesn't have a feature to capture images if I understand you correct, you may need to find a solution or script to capture images with a camera.

    Hello Lori,

    I want auto warping function using a USB camera.

    I'm looking for an auto warping solution that can compare the projected pattern image with the captured by the camera

    to determine and correct the distortion.

    While searching for information, I found a case where a camera was connected to the DLPC6540 USB port,

    so I asked if DLPC can process images internally.

    It seems that I need to us an AP(CPU) that can process images.

    Hi Ted,

    For warping, you can create a script to run the commands which is supported by the controller DLPC6540. However, if you want to use a camera to capture the projected images, then you need to develop a solution by yourself from the user side which we won't be able to support.
