I would like to double check if the DLPC7540 High Resolution Controller works for DLP472TE? Since on the manual it only mentions: "To ensure reliable operation, the DLPC7540 controller must always be used with the DLP471TE, DLP471NE, DLP650TE or DLP651NE DMDs".

Apart from the DLPC7540 display controller, DLPA100, do we need any other additional parts ensure full operation of the DLP472TE DMD?

Yes, the DLPC7540 works with DLP472TE DMD. DLP472TE DMD share the same board design with DLP471TE and DLP650TE. You can refer to DLPC7540EVM board design files and DLP471TEEVM board design files.

Hi we want to know that if the 7540EVM AND 471TEEVM is required for an operation? Or is the 7540 controller + DLPA 100 + DLP472TE enough?---all we need is simple amplitude modulations.

Hello Anderson,

You don't need DLP471TE DMD if you want to use DLPC7540 + DLP472TE combination. Will you have your own design board for this combination?
