DLP5500: Request for SCP Protocol OPCodes and Command Documentation

What controller are you using this with?  SCP bus communication should be taken care of by the controller.  TI does not publish this protocol.  It is intended to be transparent to the end user.

I cannot find the controller at a reasonable price as its production has been discontinued. I am using a digilent zybo z710 board to run the chip.

The older DLPC200ZEW controller chip is still an active part.  However it is not really recommended to start a new design with it.  

Instead, the DLPC900AZPC has now been enabled to support the DLP5500 DMD.  The price is similar to the DLPC200 however.

TI does not support using a DMD without one of our controllers.  

What are you considering a "reasonable" price?

80 aud is my limit unfortunately, as this is for a school project. I understand that this may not be possible. It is somewhat frustrating to have all the necessary hardware theoretically but not be able to integrate it.

The only alternative that I could suggest is looking for something used (like ebay).

I assume you are wanting low level control on this?

Preferably yes, I will likely end up finding an old projector and using the controller and dlp in that, or potentially use a micro lcd. It's for a retinal display for reference.
