The DLPC3470 Product Page has a Software Development tab and you can start to look through this.

Unfortunately, we don't utilize a python based interface, but we do offer an API (Application Programming Interface) that is a collection of C-language routines that provide the fundamental software pieces. You will need to integrate the code into your own solution.

I would highly recommend you utilize an EVM with our provided GUI, only the DLP3010EVM-LC is available now [DLPC3478 controller. This is not necessary if you become familiar with the Software Programmer's Guide and follow the programming sequences - see section 3.1.1.1 and the difference 'write' commands necessary for changing operating modes - but you could reference the command logs within the 'debug' tab of the EVM GUI.

The DLPC-API (Application Programming Interface) software for the DLPC34xx chipset has a User's Guide under it's own product page. This guide will instruct you how to install but the US export approval form you need to fill out for what end-product you anticipate to utilize the software for.

After you fill out the form you should get a message/link to download the software or it should automatically start installing.

The guide will instruct you past this point. I consider this thread closed after you have API installed because again, this is a collection of C-language routines that provide the fundamental software pieces. You will need to integrate the code into your own solution going forward. Again, I would recommend referencing the DLPC3470 and DLPC3478 Software Programmer's Guide.
