We are developing a compressed sensing imaging solution covering the UV to SWIR range and were wondering if some of the lower-cost DMD models allow binary control of the mirrors at rates above 10 kHz.
If so, could you please point us to the relevant models? This doesn’t seem to be a very common application, and the external print mode specifications are not detailed in the datasheets.

Additionally, I would like to know if you have transmission curves for Corning Eagle XG glass with the UV coating, since this curve does not appear in the Application Report – Wavelength Transmittance Considerations for DLP® DMD Window (ideally covering wavelengths up to 2500 nm).

Hello Loic,

What modules do you consider lower cost? Is there a cost you have in mind? The speed you are looking for is found in our higher performance chipsets.

TI does not make a UV AR coated Conrning Eagle XG window. The UV windows are Corning 7056 and they are type A package windows. The UV AR window curves are in the App Note.

Thank you for the clarification.

By “lower cost,” I’m looking for a DMD that would be under 150 USD in large quantities, but ideally as inexpensive as possible, with a minimum resolution equivalent to 720p on the mirror grid.
