  • Hello!

Thank you for reaching out through E2E!

Have you tried to restart the GUI as well as reconnect the USB to your computer? I know it sounds silly, but if you've reprogrammed the board it may have lost connection. I've run into issues with  Windows 11 recently not recognizing the board immediately after programming.

Please advise if this persists. Additionally, advise what version the board was programmed with previously and what lights are on the board when powered up without J11 (Boothold) jumper populated.

    Best,

    Aaron

  • Thanks for your reply!

I've not reprogrammed the board, and it can successfully connected to another computer, I don't know what caused it.  Have you ever encountered a similar situation? How did you resolve it?

  • Hello!

If you've successfully connected it to another computer this means the board does not have an issue. Your computer is likely lacking the drivers to control your board.

I recommend you uninstall the Lightcrafter GUI and reinstall the same 5.3.0 GUI. There may have been an automatic update from your organization that messed with the driver connections. If you upgraded to Windows 11 with the GUI, it is very likely that the USB driver connection was just lost in the transition.

Please advise if a fresh install of the GUI is still presenting an issue.

    Best,

    Aaron

  • Hi !

I've been try to reinstall the 5.3.0 GUI ,but it still disconnect. In addition I've been try to reinstall 5.0.0GUI, it still disconnect. Even more, I've been try to uninstall the USB driver, still unresolved.

  • Hello!

It seems there is a common issue through Microsoft for this error code - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4174727/0xc000007b-error-fix?forum=windows-all&referrer=answers.

Please note fix #3 which is to run in Administrator mode - I've had to do this with other applications on Windows 11.

    Best,

    Aaron
