Part Number: DLP9000XUV
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP991UUV, DLPC910, DLPC964, DLPLCR90XUVEVM, DLPLCR99UVEVM

Dear TI Sales Team,

My name is SALAH UD DIN, and I represent Kortherm Science in Incheon, South Korea. We are currently developing a maskless-lithography / advanced direct-imaging system and are considering the following TI DMD modules:

• DLP9000XUV (0.9″ WQXGA UV DMD)
• DLP991UUV (0.99″ 4K UV DMD)

We would appreciate if you could provide us with the following information:

  1. FOB/CIF pricing (in KRW) for:

  • the bare DMD module (each model)

  • the evaluation module (EVM) board that includes DMD + controller for each model

  • the required controller module (DLPC910 for DLP9000XUV / DLPC964 for DLP991UUV) if sold separately

  1. Minimum order quantity (MOQ) and discount tiers (if any) for Korean / APAC region.

  2. Current lead time (weeks) for each of these items to be delivered to Incheon / Korea.

  3. Any recommended optics/illumination partner bundles or accessory kits (mounting, thermal management, evaluation board) you provide or endorse for these UV DMD modules.

  4. Warranty and support/after-sales details for industrial UV use (irradiance, lifetime, package, etc).

Our intended application: high-resolution UV lithography for advanced packaging / micro-fabrication (substrate size 300mm, wavelength ~355/405 nm , target feature size 1~2µm). If you need further information on our application to help you recommend the correct module and accessories, I am happy to provide it.

I have previously created case with this number CS3034165 but it got cancelled for some reasons.

We look forward to evaluating these modules and working with TI Korea for a solution.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Kind regards,

DIN SALAH UD

  • Hello Salah,

Let me work with my team on the questions you have provided and I will reply back once I receive more information. Possibly tomorrow, latest Monday. Thank you!

  • I am waiting for your reply.

    Thanks

  • Hey Salah,

Thank you again for your interest in the DLP9000XUV and DLP991UV platforms for your advanced lithography application. I’ve expanded the explanations below to give you clearer guidance while still keeping the technical details and structure intact. Please see the answers below:

Question 1: FOB/CIF pricing (in KRW) for:

      • I don’t know the exact price you would have to pay with tariffs, etc., so I am going to outline the unit price that is currently on ti.com. Additionally, we would need to have more project information to give volume pricing. I am currently working with the sales team to get information on FOB/CIF pricing and how we can issue a quote through E2E. You will probably have to contact the FAE/Sales team assigned in Korea for a quote and more information regarding FOB/CIF pricing and volume.
    • The evaluation module (EVM) board that includes DMD + controller for each model
      • You would need to purchase the Controller EVM and DMD EVM separately. These do not come as a pair.
      • We would recommend purchasing these units from TI.com since we do not have volume pricing on EVM material. This would be the quickest and simplest method to acquire a module.
      • DLP9000XUV
      • DLP991UUV -> You will need to request the unit through ti.com, and once approved, you will be sent a link to purchase the module.
      • The required controller module (DLPC910 for DLP9000XUV / DLPC964 for DLP991UUV) if sold separately
        • Outlined above

Question 2: Minimum order quantity (MOQ) and discount tiers (if any) for Korean / APAC region.

        • EVMs have no MOQ. The EVMs can be order one at a time and there is no volume pricing. Additionally, EVMs are not recommended for production. Please see the STANDARD TERMS FOR EVALUATION MODULES in our EVM user guides for more information.
          • If a customer is looking for modules for production, we recommend working with a third party.
        • On the contrary, DMDs do have volume pricing. TI has standard volume pricing at 1k, 10k, 25k, etc. However, due to the price of these materials, we do negotiate volume pricing between these standard points and these are considered on a case by case basis.

Question 3: Current lead time (weeks) for each of these items to be delivered to Incheon / Korea.

        • Standard lead time is 18 weeks. We do have some inventory for both of these materials so we could likely deliver them sooner, although that is not guaranteed.

Question 4: Any recommended optics/illumination partner bundles or accessory kits (mounting, thermal management, evaluation board) you provide or endorse for these UV DMD modules.

        • We partner with many third parties who create bundles (HW, projectors, etc) for these materials. These can typically be found in the “hardware development” section of the product page on ti.com.
        • Another place one could look for third parties is at http://ti.com/partners. Search for the material you are interested in and the third parties that have material featured with TI will appear.
        • Currently, I know of two third parties that have developed full systems with the DLP991UUV: In-Vision and ViALUX and both companies reside in Europe.
        • There are many third-parties that have developed with DLP9000XUV module.

Question 5: Warranty and support/after-sales details for industrial UV use (irradiance, lifetime, package, etc).

I am currently talking with a sales member to see if we can get more information regarding quote pricing. It might be better for you to reach out to your local FAE for TI Korea, as they can provide all of this information directly and help accelerate the process. Thank you again for your patience while we gather the remaining details!

      Best Regards,

      Tristan Bottone
