How can I modify the DLP5530 EVM chipset to achieve maximum backlight output in calibration mode on the DLPC230 dimming option page? My testing methods include:
1. Setting the red, green, and blue values of the Limits item in the DAC Level/Limits to 1023. At this point, the measured three LED currents did not reach the theoretical maximum value of 8A.
2. Based on Method 1, I also set the red, green, and blue values of the Blanking item in the DAC Level/Limits to 1023. The three LED currents were increased, but still did not reach 8A.
I would like to know the function of each option on the DIMMING option page.
How do various settings affect backlight output.
How to set the maximum power output of three LED channels.
This is to manually verify the backlight design. thanks.
