DLPC200 Current Consumption

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC200

Hello

I saw dlpc200 data sheet dlps014b, but I could not find the spec of power consumption.

Customer had started design, and they don't just copy Light Commander, but want to know the spec.

Would you please let me know the information of dlpc200 following?

(  If it depends on frame rate,  5KHz /22  structured light pattern ( Logic PD Light commander) is OK.)

------

-maximum consumption current of VCC_1P2V

-maximum consumption current of VCC_2P5V

-maximum consumption current of VCC_1P8V

-maximum consumption current of VCC_3P3V

------

With my best regards

  • Hello Shibitani-san,

We do not state power consumption, partly for the reason you list (binary pattern rate), but also because it is very data dependent.

For example 3.3 V is very dependent on the number of LVDS transitions during a frame load cycle.  Since the data bus is 16 bits wide, patterns that have a repetition pattern of 16 will have no transitions, but if the pattern has a period of 32 bits it may have many transitions.  For example consider a binary patter of vertical black and white stripes  that are 16 pixels wide each (32 bit repetion period) will result in a maximum number of transitions during a frame load.  Vertical black and white stripes that are 8 pixels wide each (16 bit repetion period) will result in no transitions.  The difference in current draw can be signifcant.
