About DLPR200USB firmware

Hi All,

I want to write/verify to EEPROM using the ROM writer DLPR200USB firmware.

About  DLP LightCommander Cypress USB firmware  SLAVE_B2.HEX File,

What is the start address, end address, the checksum value of the data?

Regards,

Seishin

  • Hi Seishin,

The DLPR200USB firmware is not in the raw binary image format which you can directly dump on the EEPROM.

Are you using LightCommander(TM) controller board? or Is it your own designed board?

We recommend to use the Cypress utility http://www.cypress.com/?rID=34870 to program the EEPROM. Refer their documentation on how to select the USB peripheral device and then program the EEPROM file; you will need to use 'Cypress USB console' and 'EZ-USB Interface' programs to update EEPROM. When writing to EEPROM use 'slave.iic' file which you can find in the same directory after installing DLPR200USB. For example - C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments-DLP\DLP LightCommander Cypress USB firmware/

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev
