I have had success using the beagleboard to send i2c over HDMI to the pico projector. Is it possible to do this with a PC running windows 7 or is this only possible using a beagleboard?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
It would require a USB-i2c adapter, such as the DevaSys (http://www.devasys.com/usbi2cio.htm). It should be possible to write software to communicate over the i2c, using the i2c commands which can be found in the DLP® Pico Chipset v2 Programmer’s Guide (http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/dlpu002a). However, we have no specific experience with software to do this, so nothing to recommend.
You should also use the i2c connection available at the Pico Kit v2 auxiliary port, rather than the one which is part of the HDMI connection.
Best regards,
Pascal
