About the micro-mirror's on/off positions at the "Fine Checked Board" mode in DLP LightCrafter

Dear Sir or Madam,

When LightCrafter is set at "Fine Checked Board" under "Internal Test Pattern" mode, the output is 8*14 black and white rectangles (or maybe squares).

At this condition, could I think that the micro-mirrors at the black rectangles are set to OFF positions, and micro-mirrors at white rectangles are set to ON positions?

Moerover, if it is right, how to create these kind output pattern, such as 57*76 black and white rectangles?

Thanks a lot.

Sincerely yours

Thomas

  • Dear Thomas,

Yes, you can think that the micromirrors are in 'OFF' state for black rectangles and in 'ON' state for white.

The simplest way is to create the required pattern in paint by setting the correct resolution (608*684, WVGA, VGA and QVGA are supported) and loading the pattern through GUI in pattern sequence mode (1-8 Bit) or Static image mode (24 bit).

    Best Regards,
