  • Hello Kihun,

Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E community.

Although the transparent film you have noticed does help to protect the window glass, its primary function is as an anti-reflective coating.   We do NOT recommend attempting to remove this coating.  It will adversly affect the efficiency (and contrast ratio) of the DMD.

The D4100 kit should have come with a PCB on to which the 0.7 XGA DMD mounts along with the correct interposer and plate. Several of our distributors sell Optics which can be used with this DMD.  These optics have a mounting surface that match the mounting holes of the PCB and the DMD.  I believe it is called S2+ optics for the 0.7" XGA you have pictured.  Several of our design houses sell these optics. --> http://www.ti.com/analog/docs/memsdlpdsgn.tsp?sectionId=622&tabId=2448

I know that Digital Light Innovations in Austin, Texas U.S.A.  has this module. -->  http://www.dlinnovations.com/index.php?page=products&section=d4100&subsection=s2optics
