Use Linux system to control projection pattern

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC300

Hello,

In 3D measurement I want to choose different patterns according to previous the measurement result in real-time. But the speed of USB command for DLPC300 is too slow for hundreds fps projection. I think maybe the embed Linux chip can give command faster.

I am now trying to control the patterns in high speed projection. But I am not familiar with the Linux system, so I want to know is it possible to control the patterns with the embed Linux device in real-time?

  • I am also interested in doing this.  I understand that in principle I can compile code that can save patterns to memory and then issue I2C commands to the DLPC300 to load the pattern, but an example, tutorial, or other documentation would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
