DLPC200_Case to ambient Thermal resistance

Hello,

This is the questions about DLPC200.

According  to DLPC200 data sheet  "dlps014d"   page20,  Theremal resistance Rc is

Rc= (Tj-Ta)/P  - 3.3   deg-C/Watt ---- (1)

Q1  If Pand Ta are  were  known, how can I estimate Tj (deg-C)?

Q2 What is the usage of   Eq.(1) ?

    Hi Kanji Shibatani,

    Welcome to DLP&MEMS forum.

    The equation is mainly meant to determine whether the DLPC200 require the Heat Sink based on the device operating enviroment.

    Unless  Rc info available it is not possible to determine Tj. Thanks for bringing this out. We will be working on updating the datasheet soon.

    For your immediate need please send me the friend request, i will try to provide some information to get you going. If NOT please wait until we update the datasheet.
