Hi all,
I did like to replace the light engineering of LightCrafter with a NIR light source (~850 nm). Have anyone experiences with doing so? AND maybe recommend a light source and make me aware of important issues?
Thanks,
Oline

Hi Oline,
Please refer to the Laser Power Handling for DMDs white paper. It serves as a guide to calculate the power and temperature limits on 0.3 WVGA DMD and the window transmission information is available here. For 0.3 WVGA DMD, the window material is Corning Eagle XG.

Hello Yuval,
any update on the release schedule for Laser LightCrafter with NIR?
Kind regards,
Jakob
Hello Jakob,
Please excuse my late response, we are currently on a holiday in Israel.
The new Laser Light Crafter is operational and under final testing phase, in couple of weeks it will be available for purchase.
We will also offer the upgraded light engine with NIR laser as a stand alone for embedded applications in case you wish to design your own hardware around it.
Regards,
Yuval
