Hi All

Two questions:

1) How to change/disable default splash screens in Lightcrafter? Is it possible without changing MSP430 firmware? Are splash screens stored in DLPC300 flash and MSP430 just sends commands to show it?

2) Firmware package download is not available: after authoraization I've got error on the page (tried to play with cookies, security settings, different browsers...)

Hi Oleksandr,

1) The Splash screens are pre-built in the DLPC300 firmware. We will provide a utility to replace the default Splash screen in the DLPC300. The resolution of the bitmap file is fixed and you can only replace existing images with 427x240 bmp files.

When the utility for serial flash will be available? We are also having difficulties to find serial flash format description (we could modify splash screens without changing init data).

You can download the Splash Screen Utility from TI website, DLPR300SPLASH. Instructions are provided in the ReadMe.
