No splash screen and other problems...

Hi,

During the update of the various firmwares, I made a mistake and selected the "DLPC Firmware" and loaded an inappropriate file. Since then, the splash screen does not appear when I boot the LCr and I cannot display any image. I have an error when I try to change the display mode. I should say that I still have a connection with the computer (I have a windows machine) but the GUI is able to see that I have a given version of the DM365 (v3.31) but provide an error for the FPGA and MSP firmwares.

Is there a way to reinitialize the LCr??? What should I do?

    Hi Jeremie,

    Since the splash screens are actually part of the DLPC300 firmware, you are unable to project them. From your description, It seems like you are still able to run the GUI and connect to the LightCrafter Module.

    If so, download the configuration firmware for DLPC300 from the link, http://www.ti.com/tool/dlpr300

    Now in Solutions/ Upgrade tab, under "SW Package" select the DLPC Firmware and click install.

    Once you have the right DLPC firmware installed, you can go ahead and upgrade the FPGA and MSP430 firmwares.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer. There is still something that I don't understand. From the LCr user's guide, it is indicated that the DLPC300 firmware is a .bin file. However, I don't find such a file in the DLPC folder (there are in fact a .msi and a .exe file). Could you please be more specific on the way to update the DLPC300 firmware?

    Ok...

    I found the file in the TI-DLP folder in "Program Files". Once installed, I could updrade the FPGA and MSP430 firmwares. Everything is working now!
