Unsuccessful DM365 SW Update

Hello,

I have followed the instructions given in the ReadMe document after extracting from DLPLightCrafter_FW_SW_v1.1_2012_07_19 to install DM365 software. After I insert the uSD card to LCr, switched the DIP and powered it on, the process stop at the fourth splash screen, the LED near DM365 chip stays ever red. Does anyone know what's wrong or have met similar problems? The ReadMe document says uSD card will need about 80 MB free space, I checked my uSD card after executing lcr_boot_sd.exe dm3xx_nandv3_31.dat E: command, only about 15 MB was used, is it normal?

Hai,

The image size is approximately about 14.6 MB. After the image is copied to the uSD, the DIP switch should be towards the uSD card as you have mentioned.

The LightCrafter boot stops at 90% (fourth splash screen), but the LED beside the DM365 should turn green. (This will take about a minute).

Were you able to copy the image successfully to uSD card?

Can you please provide details of your procedure.

Hi Divya,

Im having the same problem. Do any of the other firmware/software have to be updated before updating the DM365?

I formatted and wrote the image to SD card on win xp 32 bit desktop and it worked!

Note I also tried using win 7 64bit and win xp 32 bit laptops and it didnt work (same problem as described above).
