TI (Barco) DLP Projectors (Dr. Seufert) cable connections

HI all,

Our company inherited two TI DLP projectors in good condition. We'd like to use them and are looking for information regarding the connectors. There is one female serial cable (data) and two male parallel cables labelled In and Out. Would anyone have any information regarding how to connect the cable, what they would normally connect to and ultimately can I connect a laptop to them?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Derek

  • Hi Derek,

    Welcome to DLP&MEMS forum.

In any typical DLP Projector the front-end electronics/firmware part i.e., locking to a video source is designed and handled by the projector manufacturer. The DMD is located at the end of datapath and responsible for displaying the video on it. So, We cannot be able to tell whether it works for particular source type or connector. So my recommendation is to get in touch with Barco. They will be in better position to provide you the details about the connector and input video source configuration.

Feel free to get back to us if there any more doubts.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev
