Hello,
I was wondering what the distance from the DMD to the f-mount is. Has anyone made this measurement?
Thank you.

Hello,

Laura,
46.50 mm is the lens flange back distance. This is the standard for Nikon F-mount.
I am actually inquiring about the details related to the optics which separate the Digital Micromirror Device from the F-mount without the Nikon lens being attached. Do you know these details?
Laura,
I'm not sure that I understand your question. There are no optics between the DMD and the lens - only the DMD window, which is a flat optical plate. The optical distance from the F-mount flange (where the base of the lens seats when attached) to the DMD mirror array is the standard F-mount distance, which is 46.5 mm (Nikon spec).
Are you talking about the off-axis illumination system, which is necessary to illuminate the DMD? That is a more complex question, because there is not a specific distance value associated with that. It is not an image-forming path - but an illumination path.
Best regards,
Pascal
Pascal,
Do you have a transmissivity/ reflectivity plot for the optical plate for 650 - 850 nm? If you can not provide that could you provide me with material of the optical plate?
Thank you.
