Hi,

I remove the LED light engine, and consider to illuminate the DMD with a laser(671nm,200mw). Should it burn the DMD micromirror? What should I do to avoid potential high heat?

Hello Jin,

This should not be a problem if you are spreading the light evenly over the entire surface fo the DMD. If not, what spot size will the 200 mW cover?

Hello Fizix,

Thanks for your relpy. The laser spot will cover the entire suface of DMD after being Beam-expanded. I am wondering if I need to take cooling measures for DMD.
