Hello
My DLP LightCrafter doens't boot. I bought the recommanded power supply but it isn't able to diplay anything. There are three LED's blinking, when I plug it in.

What can I do? Is there any reset button?
Thank you for answering

Hi Yves,
The LEDs look right. Do you have a 5V, 3A supply?
MSP430 shuts off the LED driver circuit in over voltage conditions. Can you please double-check if you have the right power supply.

Divya
To avoid problems I bougth exactly this power supply. (5V, 3.0 A)
After plugin it in and out the LEDs on top don't light up anymore!? I did this before but nothing happend. Could there be a problem with the connection?
Hi Yves,
Please make sure the power supply is plugged in properly into the JP1.

Divya
It is plugged in properly but it still doens´t project anything or boot. What else could I do wrong?

Hi Yves,
Did you make any modifications to the board?
Is the device within warranty period?
If you haven't modified the board and if its an out of box defect, please contact your purchasing channel (distributor or estore) to process the exchange for a new LightCrafter.
Bokai,
Welcome to the DLP & MEMS E2E forum. Very sorry to hear that you are also experiencing difficulties with your LightCrafter. Could you explain what you have tried so far? Have you read through this forum to see if some of the answers help you?
If this is an out of the box failure, as Divya said above, please contact the source where you purchased your LightCrafter and ask for an exchange.
Bokai,
We have had reports from some customers who used power supplies which seemed adequate, but were unable to respond to the rapid current demand changes in the LightCrafter during boot-up. This was surprising, but we have had it confirmed by several people. Could you possibly try another power supply. We have had great success with small, 5V 2.5A plugin switching power supplies (wall wart type). You may find that a simpler supply does the trick.
If that still doesn't work, I suggest you go back to your point of purchase and tell them it still doesn't work.
