How can I connect c# with dlp3000 lightcrafter?

Hi,

I'm current doing a project that is working with the dlp lightcrafter. And in this project I'm using c# language to communicate with this device, but now I've no idea how does it communication. Is there any guides to download? Is there any sample codes for c# to download? In this project I need to control it using c# to load images and on/off the device.

I'm new and having minimum understanding to the DLP Lightcraft.

Hi Miao Ling,

I don't know C#, but take a look as the C sample code. I'm sure most of it could be easily ported to C#.

You can download the sample code from LightCrafter Website - http://www.ti.com/tool/dlplightcrafter. Scroll down to “Available Versions” section.

API Sample Code is part of the DLP LightCrafter Firmware and Software Bundle v2.0.1.

Is it possible that Texas Instruments can come up with a C# sample code to support the DLP3000 Lightcrafter GUI?

Hi Miao,

Unfortunately, we do not have plans to release the API code in C#.

As Nikita suggested, it is possible to port the C++ code to C#.

But remember that C++ and C# are not very similar languages and it might take some time to port the complete code and compile correctly.
