Hi,

we are currently developing a DLP system, using the DLP4100 chipset as well a 1080p or WUXGA DMD.

Recently we heard about the DDP4422 DLP system controller and we are not sure if the DLP4100 chipset is the correct choice.

Can I get datasheets and application notes of the DDP4422 via email? This would help to make the correct decision.

Hello Jim,

I am sorry for the confusion.  I did not send Michael the datasheets, but rather an answer to his inquiry.  The response informed him that the DDP4422 is a ASIC for OEM projector manufacturers.  This ASIC is video-centric and is not part of the DLP Catalog offerings. 

What is your application so that we can connect you to either the correct Catalog DMD chipset and evaluation kit? 

If your application is a consumer/commercial projector then we can give your information to the team that engages OEM manufacturers.
