Dear David,
We produce Laser DLP Platforms which might work for you since we can offer customization to fit the optical engine to your desired working wavelength. Basically we offer two main platforms as standard:
1. Laser LightCrafter MKII (WVGA) with NIR Laser and G + B LEDs.
2. Laser LightCrafter E4500 MKII (WXGA) with NIR Laser and G + B LEDs.
Modification to the illumination route is required to work with a VIS laser which we can offer you. (RED Laser at 650nm or BLUE Laser at 450nm)
Please feel free to contact me at: yuval_k@ekb.co.il

Hello David,
I just noticed you asked about pairing Laser specifically with the Light Commander development platform.
We offer a kit called LaserBeamer L55IR which is designed to replace the NIR LED with a NIR Laser illumination (808nm).
We can offer customization to our standard version to convert it to VIS at either BLUE 450nm 1.5W or RED 650nm 1W.
For more details on our LaserBeamer please visit our website at this link: http://ekb.co.il/pages/products/laser_beamer.php

Yuval,
From your descriptions, I am informed that you could provide laser led light engines that are compatible with LCR,right?
then, is there any laser led light engine that is compatible with DLP4500? I want to replace the led with laser one.
He
thanks
Dear He,
We offer Laser LightCrafter E4500 MKII. The platform is based on the LightCrafter 4500 electronics therefore same features are provided. Our E4500 MKII comes with a different optical bench providing hybrid engine in which Laser is combined together with LEDs. For example we offer IR version (Laser in IR at 808nm + GREEN + BLUE).
If there is a laser at specific wavelength that you wish to work around we can offer customization to support your requirement.
You are welcome to visit our website
to review our offered LightCrafter E4500 MKII at www.ekb.co.il and at our estore page->

Thanks,Yuval.
From EKB official website, There are several LCR versions based on E4500MKII platform in total. For LCR E4500 MKII IR 850nm version, a IR LED 850nm 3W light engine comes with it. In the page below ,EKB states that therse is no warranty when DMD is used outside 420-700nm range. Dose it mean EKB do not guarantee the lifetime of LCR E4500 IR 850nm?
And dose EKB have sales agent in China?
My personal email is jinguanghe@gmail.com, and you can mail me the information.

Best Regards.
Hello He
The 0.3” and 0.45” DMD are qualified by TI to work at wavelength rage 420-700nm; TI does not provide warranty for the DMD’s that are operated in other wavelengths outside this spectrum.
Some of our customers have working with our provided solutions in wavelength ranges outside the spectrum (800-980nm, 382nm – 405nm) for more than 2 years. We have not encountered any failures so far. (Utilized power range 1W to 5W)
Please feel free to contact us on any question. For sales we also have an agent in China (located in Shenzhen).
Best regards
Yuval
Yuval,
I have much interest in your products IR E4500 MKII. What's the structural or electrical distinctions between LCREVM 4500 and LCR E4500 IR850 besides red led? From the introductions on EKB website, it seems that you just replace red led with a IR one or laser one.
If possible, could you please mail me the product document of E4500 MKII laser 808nm and IR LED 850nm ? jinguanghe2011@gmail.com

He
Hello He,
The IR E4500 MKII is provided with 850nm 3W illumination, other than the illumination some of the optical components were modified to fit this wavelength range. IR E4500 MKII can be provided with throw ratio of either 1.4 or 1.2. (depending on client's request, note: 1.2 entails additional cost).
The Laser version includes additional optical modifications.

Yuval
