What are the TI recommended video timings (pixel clock, blanking, back porch, front porch) for the 912x1140 mode over 24-bit parallel interface that can achieve 2880 fps in pattern mode? So far I've managed to achieve about 2580 fps without upsetting the DLPC350.

Hi Stanislaw,

The DLPC350 datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dlpc350.pdf) lists the recommended settings in Table 11 "Source Input Blanking Requirements" on page 23.

Can you verify those timings?

At 150 MHz pixel clock (maximum), i get TPPL = 912 + round_up(154286/912) = 1082 pixels. VBP = 370 us = 52 lines (rounding up). So TLPF = 1140 + (52 + 3) = 1195 lines. This works out to a 116.01 Hz frame rate, and 24*116.01 = 2784 Hz pattern rate, a good deal below 2880 Hz mentioned by the datasheet.

In fact, I can't even run those timings. The horizontal interval specified by the spec causes the DLPC350 to miss every other line period at 150 MHz (I believe it works OK at 80 MHz). The best I've actually managed is TPPL = 1174 pixels and TLPF = 1153 lines at 145.8 MHz, resulting in a 2585 Hz pattern rate.
