How to make 1440 (60*24) pattern in lightcrfater?

To use HDMI, I should select the hdmi video mode on gui, isnt it?

should I connect another external device which gives pattern except PC?

To get maximum rate via hdmi, I referred this dialogue.

I`ve installed DVSDK in LINUX. 

But  I don`t know how to command it. In DLPC300 programmer`s guide, there is I2C address, can I use it by C code?

My goal is getting 1440Hz pattern via hdmi mode, 

I believe it is possible through streaming pattern via hdmi. Is it right?

Since you have the DVSDK installed, you can interact with the Linux via the LightCrafter UART port. Have you already done this? Can you see the Linux terminal output.

If you haven't done this yet, see the DLP LightCrafter User's Guide section 1.4, under UART.

I am not knowledgeable enough about the details of the DVSDK, so I will pass your question to someone who knows the DVSDK better.

To answer your question regarding achieving 1440Hz using HDMI using the GUI, here's what you will have to do:

• Since you want to stream patterns through HDMI, you will have to set it to HDMI mode and then select "External Pattern Sequencing Mode"
• Then you can select one LED instead of RGB since you want to achieve 1440 Hz which is 1 bit depth per pattern at 60Hz  (24 patterns at 60Hz = 1440Hz)
• Refer to the attached screenshot.
• Also use the latest GUI 5.0 from the latest  3.0 Software Bundle on our website http://www.ti.com/tool/dlplightcrafter

Now, I succeeded to connect with hdmi..

But..it is hard to make image which has 24 subframes...

So, is there anyone  who can share the code which is about making image with 24subframes ?

You need a script (Perl, Python, C, etc.) to take 24 separate 1-bit images (.bmp) and stuff them into a 24-bit image, which becomes one frame of the streaming video.

I am going to check to see if there are any commonly available tools which can do this.

We have a Matlab script that we use to generate a 24-bit image from different bit depth images. 

We need to add some documentation to the script before releasing it on E2E forum. I will be working on getting the documentation done and then share the script with you.

Thanks for your patience regarding the script to combine 24 1-bit images (patterns) to form a 24-bit image.

This contains several useful Matlab scripts for the LightCrafter platform. The script that you are looking for is the first one LCRBitlanes.m that would let you input 24 1-bit patterns and create a 24-bit bitmap for you. Kindly refer to the header at the beginning of script to learn how to use it.
