questions about removing the heat-sink of LCR4500

Hi

I have tried to disassemble the light engine of lightcrfter 4500 ,with the purpose of replace the light of red LED  with  a 780 nm laser beam . But when I attempted to remove the heat-sink ,I encountered a problem. I found the heat-sink to be clung to the light engine tightly via some special glues. I confirm that I turned all the screws out . So, I am wondering if there is any efficient method to remove the heat-sink ,without potentially  damaging the lens inside the engine?
