Hello,
I have a question about "Display Mode Selection Command" (I2C:0x69) in DLPC350.
There is description about rule to using this command:

When I initialize DLPC350 without polling, I encountered error.
We need to poll the system status (I2C: 0x20, 0x21, and 0x22). But, what is the expected value of them?

Best regards, RY

  • Hello RY,

You would expect the values from those status registers that state the controller is operating correctly. For example, the mirrors should not be parked, there shouldn't be any errors, initialization was successful, etc. I recommend reading the DLPC350 Programmer's Guide for more information regarding the system status flags.

The following tables will be helpful:

    Table 2-1. Hardware Status Register

    Table 2-2. System Status Register

    Table 2-3. Main Status Register

    Best regards,

    Blair

Thank you so much for your response.
    I understand your answer.

I would like to check there is no error and DMD Micromirrors are not parked.
Other field in Main Status Register(I2C:0x22) depends on situation of DLPC350.
    Best regards, RY
