Hello all,

We already have LightCrafter but are working on a custom solution.  Before purchasing DLP3000 and DLPC300 we wanted to make sure that we have the sockets for experimantal purposes.  I found the socket for DLP3000 (though in pack of 3000), however I can't seem to find anything DLP3000 (176 pin, 0.4mm pitch, 7x7 mm size).  Am I missing sth or is the only way to use DLPC300 is to design a custom PCB ?

    Hello Burak,

    Welcome to TI DLP E2E community.

    So DLP3000 is basically a 0.3 inch 7.62mm diagonal DMD (micromirror array) available in 16.6-mm by 7-mm by 5-mm Package Footprint. This requires a dedicated controller chip DLPC300 for its reliable operation.

    This controller chip comes in 

    176-Pin, 7 × 7 mm with 0.4-mm Pitch VFBGA package.

    You would then have to refer to all the schematics for Driver board that contains DLPC300 controller and the DMD to design your custom board.
