Booting problem

Hi,

I purchased a DLP lightcrafter 3000 eight months ago that is working perfectly fine.

I got a new one a few months ago that doesn t boot, it stays stucked at 95% of the booting process as shown by the advancement bar. After browsing the forum, I have been trying to boot from a SD card by loading the dm365_sd.dat file on the card as suggested in previous posts. It still doesn t work even after trying 3 different microSD cards from different companies.

Any suggestions? We really need to make it work as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hello Fred,

    Welcome to TI DLP E2E community!

    I will definitely help you get started with Lightcrafter EVM and get it up and running.

    Can you make sure you are following all the steps correctly from the post;

    http://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp__mems_micro-electro-mechanical_systems/f/850/t/345676.aspx

    If it still doesn't work then, I would recommend you to connect a UART to USB cable in the connector right above the power connector, set up the serial port  for 115200 baud rate on Tera Term or RealTerm or any serial terminal program, turn on the Lightcrafter and start logging the UART debug messages being spit out on the terminal.

    Send those out to me so that I can help troubleshoot this issue and help you get it fixed.

    Regards

    Manasi
