Advisory on buying the DLP LightCrafter 3000

Dear all,

I want to buy the DLP LightCrafter 3000, but here I have some questions on the associate components such as power supply and cables. I know for the DLP LightCrafter 4500, cables and power supply are sold separately. So, do I need buy the cables and power supply separately from DLP LightCrafter 3000. Further , do I　need buy the trigger cable ?

yes, you need to buy power supply separately.

From TI e-store https://estore.ti.com/DLPLIGHTCRAFTER-DLP-LIGHTCRAFTER-Evaluation-Module-P2788.aspx in the description the recommended power supply is provided, actually any 5V @2A adapter should work, the power supply is listed on Digikey http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?vendor=0&keywords=t1212-p12p-nd

Do I need to buy the camera projector trigger cable, and the followings:

Yes, that is correct.

Sorry I missed out answering the later part of your question.

Basically you have to build trigger cable for yourself.

Dear Sanjeev,

I have ordered Molex part number: 51021-0400 (Digi-Key part number: WM1722-ND ),Molex part number: 50079-8000(Digi-Key part number: WM1142CT-ND) for Camera connector. Now I want to know do I need to buy JST part number: PHR-2(P) (Digi-Key part number: 455-1165-ND), JST part number: SPH-002T-P0.5L (Digi-Key part number: 455-2148-1-ND) for Power?

Also, I know there are Molex part number: 50079-8000 (Digi-Key part number: WM1142CT-ND) for Fan, and Molex part number: 51021-0400 ,Molex part number: 50079-8000 for I2C.

So, I wonder to know whether all these small attached components are necessary and should be bought seperately from DLP LightCrater.
