NIRscan cannot run

1. When take reference scan, show "... completed ", but when click button "perform scan", shows error messages "Absorption readings file not found".

2. When the software shows the software version 1.0, we download 2.0 images, and built 2.0 SD card checked with U-BOOT, Images, etc. files. Unfortunately, when reboot with holding S2, neither LDs or not LD2 turned on or flashed.

3. Even connect USB cable to J8, no USB driver shows up.

Therefore, how do I do? Return for RMA

    I am looking into the return procedure for a NIRScan.  In the meantime, if you connect via USB to the other port (10), does the PC recognize anything is attached.

    I do know what is the USB  other port (10). I only found 3 usb connectors in the device, 2 mini usbs(J8, J2), a dual type-a usb.(J9).

    When connect to J2, can capture reference, and cannot perform scan; when connect to J8, no any responds at all, and no usb drivers found as well.

    I did not find any information to use J9 yet.

    Sorry for the error.  The reference (10) was incorrect.  It should be (6) as shown in Figure 1-7 on page 14 of the DLP NIRscan Evaluation Module - Users Guide [dlpu016].  It is the micro USB connector immediately adjacent to the ethernet port.

    As your guides, this is a mini USB type B connector J8, when connect to a computer with WIN7/XP, no any response shows up in the computer, no usb driver either, of course, no information shows in ethernet port.

    But if connect to J2, this is driver shown on ethernet port.

    We got the RMA unit this morning, but still got problem, no spectrum curves ( User's manual Page 21) are shown up:
    1. The NIRscan home page shows, when running at http://192.168.0.10/
    2. Information ICON works fine.
    3. After click Quick Scan Icon, Quick scan screen shows.
    4. When click Run Reference Scan, the message of "The Reference Scan Completed" shows.
    5. After click Perform Scan, the black screen shows up, and nothing continues...

    Any ideas? please let me know!
