Video from DLP® LightCrafter Display 2010 EVM using USB

I have been using the DLP® LightCrafter Display 2010 EVM running video from a HDMI port. This works fine but my project requires that I run video from the USB connection. Is there anyway to do this with this platform?

Thank You,
Dylan Matteson

  • A question I would like to add is: when the LightCrafter is displaying video for more than ~2mins it quickly shuts off then comes back on, showing the initial splash screen. Then switches over back to the video. I do not understand why this is happening but believe it has something to do with the power supply. I am using an AC/DC (8V, 1A) converted, could this be the problem.

  • Hi Dylan,

LightCrafter 2010 EVM can only run video via HDMI port, not USB. The USB port is used on sending command to projector.

Your power supply has issue. The correct power supply should be

    input: 100-240V, 50-60Hz, 0.5A

    output: + 5V, 3.0A
