what is the input lag in pattern sequence mode with data streaming over HDMI?

Hi all,

I'm working with the LightCrafter 4500 in pattern sequence mode with an external pattern streaming over HDMI (and not from the onboard memory). Does anyone know what the input lag should be in this configuration? Has anyone measured it?

The TI documentation shows that the input lag in video mode should be one 24-bit data frame (e.g. at 60 Hz, 16.66 ms), and in pattern sequence mode using bit plane stored on board, there can be no input lag at all once the frame buffer is filled. What is the situation for pattern sequence mode when presenting an external pattern supplied over HDMI? I'd guess the situation is similar to the situation in video mode, but I'd like to get confirmation and/or measurements from TI and the user community.

Thanks!

Jonathan
