We have a series of DLP Discovery 4100 Development Kit including a piece of 0.55 XGA DMD（we bought it in 2010） ,but it broken. We plan to buy a piece of 0.55 XGA DMD. We see the  DLP5500BFYA in TI's website.

 Is the old DLP Discovery 4100 Development Kit compatible with DLP5500BFYA?

    Hello User,

    The DLP5500BFYA is not a compatible DMD with the Discovery 4000 platform - both the package and interface are different.  Please contact one of our Design House Partners to see if they might have some of the 5500 Type X package DMD's still available.  You may want to try DLi. click here --> DLi link page
