I saw the post in the below.
There is some issue in firmware version 2.0.

Question)
- Is the issue applied to firmware version 1.1?
Because our system have produced with FWv1.1.

- Could you let me know the affected condition ?
Is that applied when using trigger mode 0?
or, pattern LUT load issue always happens when using I2C?

- When will you release firmware v3.0 ?

[Sanjeev] Pat LUT load issue not present there in v1.1. The bug was introduced in 2.0 F/W which we have fixed already and will be pushing the fix in the next release.

[Sanjeev] The Pat LUT load is independent of trigger mode setting. Yes, Pat LUT load not working via I2C, with USB there is no problem.
In short, those who are using v2.0 F/W, if they try to upload the Pat LUT or Image LUT via I2C it will not work.

- v3.0 release date.
[Sanjeev] The release date is not decided yet; it will be sometime in 1Q2015.

Dear TI employee
in order to develop spectrometer based on DLP4500 chipset, i bought the lightcrafter4500 develop board and the NIR4500 spectrometer. I designed 5 set of pcbs, bought 30k RMB material and 5 set of the 4500 chipset . when programmed according to the Program Guide for 1 month, i cannot control the LUT pattern using I2C interface. this problem made me depressed for 1 month. i spent time, money,but the datasheet has fatal errors. i beg you for updating the software.

Hello,

As we mentioned we already have the fix for it. The code will be available for public access by March 31 2015. Let us know if you are on critical path in production, we will discuss offline, please share your end application plan and product ramp update (you can send me the details via friend's request), we will decide on providing you untested beta software if you are not comfortable in sharing, you will get it on March 31.

I am trying to control DLPC350 using USB. Now ,i have a problem:In what condition will the DLPC350 abort sequence? there is no description on the programmer's guide. how can i remove this error?

If the selected pattern internal trigger period time is GREATER than actual trigger input (can be external hw trigger input 1 signal) or streaming, VSYNC period, attach your GUI snapshot, we will be able to assist you.

thank you for answering my question,I had found out the problem. I sent a error command to the DLPC350.(In detail,pattern display LUT Control Command.it was caused because of my carelessness).

I want to provide you an update. The testing is going well. We did decide to include additional tests for the DLP NIRscan that will continue into next week. Please let me know if this delay causes a critical impact to your development.

Hello RY,

Our verification tests identified a few minor bugs that need corrected. The effort to fix the bugs and complete testing should wrap up before the end of this month allowing a release to www.ti.com/tool/dlpr350 by the end of July or early August.

Hello RY,

We identified an issue with the variable exposure default settings during startup. The issue is fixed, but required a change to code that we had previously tested. Therefore, we need to revalidate the code this week before releasing.
