Thank you very much for your reply. I would like to trigger a pattern sequence using the GPIO pins. Would the following set of connections be appropriate?

J6 Pin 18 (GPIO PWM0 Output) to J10 Pin 5 (Trigger 0)

J10 Pin 6 (Trigger 0) to J6 Pin 8 (Digital Ground)

Hello, I'm searching for the same answer.
Was your assumption correct? Will I need to connect an additional 1.8V voltage source to EXT_1V8 to operate the GPIOs?
The manual isn't so clear about GPIOs...

Yes. Look at the J11 connector both TRIG_IN_1 and TRIG_IN_2 points take three reference signals TRIGGER VCC reference and actual trigger signal and a GND.

Also make sure the J10 and J12 are jumpers are setup to the actual TRIGGER VCC reference provided.

thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I cannot get the GPIOs to work. After setting the reference to 1.8V, I connected pin 1 of J11 to pin 1 of J3 and then set through the GUI GPIO_11 to output and high (normal buffer type). But probing the corresponding pin on J6 shows nothing more than some millivolt-scale noise.

Am I forgetting something?
