DMD to reflect Infrared light

Hello everyone,

I am doing a research on Virtual reality. For the research I would like to use a DMD to reflect IR light as per the command. Just wondering will it be possible for me to buy just the DMD and it's control board, so that I can connect it to my computer and change the micro-mirrors position using a simple C program.

Thank you, Your help in this regard is much appreciated.

  • Hello Abhilash,

We suggest to go through the different EVMs we provide also the GUI or sample code we provide with the EVM.

The best approach would be to look at the EVM user's guide then proceed with selection. It also important to know the wavelength you want to play with.

People do disassembly the EVM (at their own risk / out of warranty ) get access to the DMD.

The simple and cheapest one is DLP LightCrafter Kit you can experiment with.

    Regards,
