Unable to connect to hardware via DLP LightCrafter Control Software - 5.0.0

Hello All,

I am currently having difficulties with connecting to my DLP device to my windows 7 Professional 64-bit computer.

Its current status in device manager is:

*in Device Manager: Network Adapters --> USB Ethernet/RNDIS Gadget#5 Appears.

*in View Network Connections: Local Area Connection 7, unidentified network, shared, USB ethernet/RDNIS Gadget#5 Appears.

*In the DLP LightCrafter Control Software-5.0.0: there is a Connect button which I click, but does nothing.

*The device's current IP address can be pinged.

*Upon turning on the DLP device, the device does show its ability to switch through all the light pattern (fine checker board, etc)

What I have tried:

*I have tried to restart the computer with the device's USB disconnected.

*I have tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling

*I have tried several different static IP address within the same default gateway

*I have tried turning the DLP device on and off then hitting the Connect button within the GUI

*I have tried disabling the Local Area Connection icon of the RNDIS Gadget #5

Please Help.

Thank you.

  • Hi,

Looks like it is directly entering the demo mode, this one is invoked by pressing the Push-button on the top board. Can you check if by chance the push-button is stuck and the DM365 always upon booting entering into this mode. Alternatively you can loosen it pressing multiple times.

If no solution stored it should just enter Video Mode displaying the RGB color pattern generated out of DM365.

    Regards,
