Thermal grease light crafter 4500 EVM

hi,

i recently bought a Lightcrafter 4500 evm (wintech) and when i disassemble the unit for some modifications purposes i get the cooling part really hard stucked on the chassis by thermal grease, i tried carefully remove with dental floss and other thin films, how could i proceed ?

When asked to wintech about the thermal adhesive, they say;

" ...they are assembled with thermal epoxy. You might try a hot air heat gun to loosen the adhesive. Here is a thread on disassembly : http://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp__mems_micro-electro-mechanical_systems/f/924/t/278008."
