How to set up triggering with CCD?

How do I set up triggering of my camera with my CCD. I have the DLP EVM.

Which EVM are you using?

If you are using the LightCrafter4500, are you planning on using the provided Software Development Kit?

Great! An excellent resource for learning about triggering on the LightCrafter (also sometimes called the LightCrafter3000), is the LightCrafter User's Guide: http://www.ti.com/lit/dlpu006

Check out section 2.6, I think that should answer some of your questions.

I'm going to move this thread to the LightCrafter specific forum, as it will be a little more specifically geared toward additional questions, if you have any.

We also specifically have a white paper on triggering CCD cameras with the LightCrafter. I have provided the link below (you can also find this information on the LightCrafter product page you linked to in a previous post on this thread).

What output does the the DLP provide? My camera needs 5V square at TTL levels.

Hi Christine,

Take a look at the system board schematic page 13 (triggers). The post below specifically mentions the steps needed to output 5V on the trigger connector (this post is part of a thread discussing the LightCrafter triggering in detail). By default it outputs 3.3V
