Inquiries regarding DLPC200

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC200
Hello, all
Now we have some inquiries regarding DLPC200 from our customer.
Please refer to the items below, and feedback us with your comment.
1) When using HDMI input, please let us clarify whether 20 pieces of 8 bit Grayscale in 180Hz pattern late could be displayed or not.
If it could be, please let us know your suggested hardware configuration.
If not, please let us clarify whether the minimum pattern late is 60Hz, which is used in GUI.
Also, please let us clarify about the minimum memory size of Parallel FLASH and DDR memories on this case.
2) On our system, we are storing image files into Parallel FLASH via USB HS.
On this case we have to spend about 12 second for storing 1 pieces of image file into Parallel FLASH.
Meanwhile, in case storing into DDR2, we spend only 1.25 second.
Please let us clarify about the reason why the storing time is largely different between each memory type.
Also, we would appreciate if you could let us know how to reduce the time for Parallel FLASH.
Best regards,
Seishin

YES*  It is possible provided the LED driver connected to DLPC200 is fast enough to respond to LED_EN (on/off) signals. On DLPC200 the greyscale values are created by accounting both DMD modulation AND LED modulation. Therefore it is very important that the LED driver is able turn on/off very fast like ~4us on/off time.

Flash (non-volatile) memory the setup requires erase followed actual writing of data. Flash read/write itself is quite slower compared to writing into RAM memory.
