DLPC900 & DLP6500 DMD Parkmode

Hi DLP Support Team!

 

i have a question regarding the DMD Park Mode using the DLP LightCrafter 6500EVM.

Can you please explain the mirrors park mode and its way of use , i think it is an essential feature to protect the DMD device in cases of power brownout ,power loss , communication loss….

    Hello Florian!

    The DMD has a specific power supply power down procedure, which is detailed in the DLP6500FYE datasheet in section 9.3, this also documents and diagrams the micromirror park sequence. As you mention, parking the mirrors is important to protect the DMD during loss of power. Let me know if something in this section isn't clear and I can try and provide a more detailed explanation.
