DLPC350 Checksum Calculations

Hello,

1) The "Download Data" (I2C: 0x25) command byte 514 is shown as "Checksum". What calculation is used to generate this checksum?

2) What calculation is used for the 4-byte checksum generated with (I2C: 0x26) Calculate Checksum command?

I've looked through the Programmer's guide quite a bit, but can't find the answers...

#1. Simple addition of bytes from the 1st byte. Byte[0] + Byte[1] + .... Byte[513] = Byte[514]

#2. Simple addition of bytes downloaded, lets say we have downloaded N bumber of bytes then check sumbe
Byte[0] + Byte[1] + .... + Byte[N-2] + Byte[N-1] = 32-bit Check sum
