Confusion about 'Remove Trigger In' (Internal Trigger)

For this two cases the only difference is I removed Internal trigger in between patterns. And I checked the Trigger out 1, it is the same as long as I fix the option 'Clear DMD after exposure time'. So could anyone give me some explanation about the difference?

  • First, Under Sequence settings, set Trigger Mode = Internal/External, or if you want to drive real time with pattern data coming via RGB port, then you must set Pattern Source = Video Port and Trigger Mode = VSYNC

Back to Pattern Sequence showing -
In the first image, each pattern is shown on trigger input, while on the second one for a single trigger pulse, it would end up showing all the three patterns. If you are not selecting, 'Clear DMD after exposure' then the last pattern continued to exposed until the next trigger.

  • Hi Sanjeev

Thanks for explanation. Let's suppose that we choose 'Internal Trigger' Mode. Since the trigger is internal, from the 'patter display ' side, what is the difference between these two in terms of temporal arrangement of the patterns?
  • If you have selected Internal Trigger mode, then going back to the 1st image (GUI snapshot above), each pattern displayed when there is trigger pulse. This is same as Trigger Mode 1, as described in Programmer's Guide.
