Extension of flat cable from PCB to DLP

Hi folks,

is it possible to extend the cable from PCB to DLP using a own 1:1 flat cable with plug and socket?

If yes, what's the maximal length of such a cable and are there any suggestions to prevent problems

with runtime and impedance?

Hi, We have designed an extension cable and it works pefectly. THus far we've tried it at 12 inches with no issues. With additional circuitry we were able to extend the cable to 5 feeet.

Hi Glen,
Is the cable available for purchase? We really need a longer flex cable to mount our DMD in an optical mirror mount for our laser application.
