Hi 

We have a question for DLP5500 lifetime.

In the datasheet, we think that there is no specific comment of this matter.

We guess that the lifetime of DMD will depend on temp and wavelength of the light source.

How long is the lifetime specification(100 hours, 1,000 hours, or 10,000 )?

What is lifetime definition(break the micro mirror or something)?

Could you tell us for this matter?

We are expecting your answer like 100 hours, 1,000 hours, or 10,000 hours in the specific condition.

    Hi AM,

    DLP technology has proven to be a very robust technology when used within its data sheet recommended operating conditions. TI offers the same warrantee on the DLP5500 that is offered on other semiconductor components. A copy of TI's standard terms and conditions is available for download: www.ti.com/.../termsofsale.page. Also similar to TI's other semiconductor components, TI does not specify a lifetime for DLP DMDs.
