trigger pattern start stop via usb

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to start/stop the display of a pattern on a USB connected lightcrafter via a software trigger. A software trigger could be a 'registered message' or the windows scheduler?

best,

johannes

  • Hello Johannes,

Do you mean single step display of patterns? That is define a configuration say for 'N' # of patterns, then issue a software command to start displaying the pattern; advance to next pattern on software command. If so, then this option is not available on this chipset; there is a workaround for it; you have to every time define a pattern LUT with just one entry and use start/stop option to display the pattern; again update one entry LUT with next pattern to be displayed, use start/stop to show the next pattern. Repeat the process for displaying all the patterns.
